Adaptive Programs

 

Ages 18+

YMCA Adaptive Programs offer healthy group activities for adults with disabilities. Fitness programs are held at the YMCA and included with Y membership. Monthly group outing locations vary and registration is required. Contact Michael Hutcherson at mhutcherson@ymcamissoula.org for details or to register for monthly outings.

Current Fitness Programs:

We currently offer the following opportunities through our adaptive program. See the PDF calendar on this page for current offerings.

*Program open to all YMCA members and does not have adaptive staff present.

Upcoming Eight Week Sessions:

Beginning January 8, we will offer the following activities every Wednesday through our adaptive program for members and non-members. Complete each activity and receive a 'Y Not' club shirt. Registration is required. Sessions will be free to members and $40 for non-members.

  • Week 1: Beach Volleyball
  • Week 2: Group Exercise 
  • Week 3: Basketball
  • Week 4: Corn Hole
  • Week 5: Walking
  • Week 6: Functional Training
  • Week 7: Swimming
  • Week 8: Disc Golf
