An Airnasium for Missoula

Get ready to Play It Forward with the Missoula YMCA's future airnasium! The Play It Forward Project is an important part of the Y's capital campaign and will offer the Missoula community access to fun and healthy outdoor spaces, including the Y's future airnasium. This project is made possible thanks to our incredible partners! The Y is proud to team up with the Missoula Outdoor Court Association (MOCA) to work to bring a state-of-the-art airnasium to Midtown Missoula. This innovative covered court space will accommodate handball, racquetball, basketball, and more.

This versatile facility will be unlike anything else in Montana and will be open to everyone in our community. It will provide a space for western Montana adults, kids, and families to try out new sports and enjoy old favorites.

YMCA X MOCA

The Missoula YMCA is proud to partner with the Missoula Outdoor Court Association (MOCA) to fundraise for the new airnasium. MOCA mission is to expand court sports like racquetball, handball, and squash, and provide outdoor court space for players.

Airnasium

The new airnasium will be located on the Y's Russell Street campus, just north of its main facility. It'll feature covered outdoor court space and be open to the public.

Splash Pad & All-Abilities Playground

We're bringing the first all-abilities playground to Midtown! This playground will have adaptive play equipment. There will also be a community splash pad. Both the playground and splash pad will be open to all.

An airnasium is an open-air gym. The YMCA's future airnasium will have a roof and open walls. It will offer covered court spaces for a variety of sports including basketball, volleyball, pickleball, squash, racquetball, handball, and more.
